Skyuka Lodge #270 is the Order of the Arrow lodge serving the Arrowmen of the Palmetto Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Since 1944 scouts from the six counties that make up the Palmetto Council have gathered together at the Palmetto Council Camps and in other places in cheerful service to others. The Lodge’s totem is a double headed thunderbird. The Lodge meets five times a year. During fellowships, the brothers of Skyuka Lodge provide cheerful service to our camps. The Lodge is a youth lead organization; under the leadership of the Lodge Chief. Skyuka Lodge is a member of Eastern Region Section Seven.
Each year, the ten lodges of ER-7 gather for a conclave fellowship. At the Fellowship, lodges compete in administrative, quest events, ceremonies, and dance competitions. Over the past few years, Skyuka has been well represented at the conclave. The Lodge won the Spirit Award in 2011, 2012, and 2014. Skyuka has won the Quest for the Golden Arrow in 2010, 2013, 2018 and 2022. The Lodge has been a National Honor Lodge every year since 2007.
